5th Class Science Exhibition 2017
On Tuesday last, 5th class held their Scince Exhibition. There were 10 different exprements that covered many different areas of the Science curriculum. Children from 1st to 6th class were enthralled and fascinated by all of the diifferent tables. These children then voted on their favourites.
The 10 topics were:
How Much Air Can Your Lungs Hold?
Design a Lava Lamp
Making a Lighthouse
Surface Tension
Growing Crystals
Motors and Vehicles
How Strong is Paper?
Water Fountain
Fingerprints, Dominant Eye and Blind Spots
Design a Bridge
In the end, group 1, How Much Air Can Your Lungs Hold?, came in forst place. Just behind them, were group 2, who looked at Motors and Vehicles

Short Story Competion 2017
5th class held a short story competition to coincide with book week this year. There were some really excellent, riveting entries. Well done to all involved
