The Board discussed the request from the N.C.S.E.to establish a special class for students with A.S.D. in O’Growney National School.

The Board discussed the future capping on enrolments on 390 pupils and the future situation regard this.

The Board complimented 6th Class and their teachers Ms. Mulholland and Mr. Sheridan on their preparation for the upcoming sacrament of Confirmation. It also wished them best wishes for the upcoming ceremony on 24th February.

Numerous policies and plans were updated, reviewed and ratified by the Board. The relevant ones will be placed on the school website.

The Board discussed the Book rental provision for the 2023 2024 school year.

The Board complimented 2nd Class and their teachers Ms. Gilsenan and Ms. Keogh on their preparation and the excellent participation of the children at the sacrament of Communion on Saturday, 5th May.
