Boys Primary 5s MDL 2026

Our boys teams competed in the FAI Primary 5's soccer blitz in the MDL, Navan, on Thursday 5th March. Despite miserable weather conditions all day, the boys performed fantastically well.

One team won two of their group games 6-2 and 3-0, and narrowly fell to 2-1 defeats in the other two games. They put in some brilliant performances and nearly made it to the next stage.

Our other team won their group games 5-0, 3-0, 2-1 and 3-0 which meant they made it through to the next stage of the day. Here they played another two teams in a 3-team group and our boys won 3-1 and 2-0 respectively, putting them through to the Meath County Finals at the end of the month! They played fantastically well throughout all the games, playing brilliant possession football and scoring some lovely goals.

Well done to both our teams on a brilliant day out despite the awful weather conditions!
